Wintersong Tashlin (www.barkingshaman.com)is a magician, shaman, educator, and activist who runs rituals and teaches classes on topics such as magic, spirituality, alternative sexuality, and relationships. His ritual work largely focuses on rites of personal transformation and ordeal. He is a founder and council member of Clan Tashlin, a magical and spiritual order built around a unique approach to magic, and the relationships between people, land and gods. Wintersong has presented workshops and/or run ritual at FSA Beltane, Free Spirit Gathering, Dark Odyssey, Primal Arts Festival, The Pagan Kingdom of Asphodel, and many others. He is past dean of the College of Brigantia, a pagan adult education program in central Massachusetts, and his writing and photography has been featured in NewWitch Magazine, as well as books by leading pagan authors. He is assistant producer for Dark Odyssey Events, managing editor of the blog Gods’ Mouths 2.0, and associate editor for The Bilerico Project, an LGBT politics & culture blog. Wintersong has appeared in television documentaries addressing topics such as paganism, polyamory, spirituality and genital integrity in both the United States and Great Britain. His photography has appeared in a number of both pagan and mainstream books, as well as several erotic arts publications.
